Junior Church:
Children’s activities can be provided during the morning service, however the small number attending means that it is a mixed-age group.
Visiting children are always welcomed and included in the Junior Church activities.

Activities for children take place in the café area at the front of the church, where the children can feel part of the larger church family.

When we celebrate Holy Communion the children are invited to join the church congregation at an appropriate point to receive a blessing  – when appropriate children can also receive the communion elements (The Methodist Church always uses non-alcoholic wine).
All our Junior Church staff have a current DBS certificate, and we always ensure that a minimum of two staff are present for every session.

Schools Work:
Members of the congregation are actively involved in leading assemblies in many local schools, based on the ‘Open the Book’ programme. Link to Outreach/Schools
