Welcome to Wesley's Café.
We are reopening Wesley’s on Monday 21st September, with reduced hours – from 11.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. - for the first month or so.
In accordance with government regulations we will have fewer tables, hand sanitiser on entry, and other necessary measures. We look forward to welcoming you back to our cafe.
If you are visiting Ludlow or you live in the area there is always a warm welcome at Wesley’s Café.
Come and sample our delicious home-cooked food and Fairtrade drinks.
The ethos of Wesley's from the beginning has been the welcome. Our customers are welcomed and greeted by a friendly face. You are very welcome if you just want a quick coffee or wish to spend longer chatting with friends, reading a newspaper or book … or just sitting. The café is fully accessible with a ramp outside and space for wheelchairs and children’s buggies inside.
The café is staffed by volunteers who come, not just from the Methodist Church, but from all the other churches in the town and surrounding area; also some with no church affiliation.
In 2010 we started to support various projects in the community with our surplus funds and we continue to do that. Some examples of these can be found in the booklet produced to mark the 10th anniversary of Wesley’s opening. (Link here)
